Mold Formula #1: Pottery plaster and silica flour. This is a standard and reliable mold formula ideal for open face, one part molds. (mold mix 50/50, pg 59)*

Mold Formula #2: Hydroperm, hydrocal, and silica flour. This is a versatile mold formula that can be used with chopped fiber. This formula is good for open face molds as well as Pate de Verre and lost wax casting. (mold mix 522, pg 61)*
