GLASS CUTTERS

We have many glass cutters to choose from. They are available in different shapes, wheel angles, tips, materials, wheel types, fluid capacities, etc. In general, as the glass you are cutting gets thicker and softer, you need a larger wheel angle. Antique glass is soft; machine, plate, and hand rolled glass are generally harder. In selecting a type of wheel, carbide wheels generally last many times longer than regular steel wheels. Oil cutters self lubricate, eliminating the need to dip the cutter in oil. The oil in the cutter also extends the life of the glass cutter. Some cutters have ball ends to aid in breaking glass, others do not have tips.

OVAL & CIRCLE CUTTERS

The Fletcher combination oval/circle cutter expands your capability by letting you switch from cutting circle to ovals on glass easily. Equipped with easy-to-operate features - like the suction cup that adheres the cutter to the glass securely with the turn of a dial. There's an easy-to-read scale along the beam that lets you set accurate measurements with the twist of a knob - and with the easy-to-adjust offset settings you can make ovals from 4 1/2" to 24" and circle up to 21" in diameter. The circle only cutter cuts up to 28" diameter circles. Made in USA.

THE SILBERSCHNITT CIRCLE CUTTERS are available in two sizes. The small circle cutter cuts circles from 2 1/2" to 15 3/4" in diameter. The large circle cutter cuts circles from 2 1/2" to 23" in diameter. Both come with a round knob handle that fits in the palm of your hand. The plastic base has notches to center the cutter on a predetermined center. The lever is made of polished brass. Both also come with 6 wheel cutting heads. When one cutter wears out, just turn to the next numbered cutter. Made in Germany. Metric Units.
