SMIRCICH TAIL STOCK HOLDER

Designed by Jim Smircich to make those technically perfect beads he is famous for. It is a wooden contoured handle that holds a brass rod with a cup shape near its end. Place the tip of the mandrel into the cup to steady it. By holding the tail stock holder in one hand and the mandrel in the other, you can control the bead within the flame more easily. Its becomes instantly more stationary as you rotate the mandrel allowing you to place the bead in the flame exactly where you need it and keep the bead on center.

SMALL MANDREL PIN VISE

Fits mandrels or tungsten rods up to 3/16" - uses a miniature three jawed chuck, similar to that on a drill, fitted to a straight hollow handle. Mandrel pin vises are handles for holding bead mandrels. Use these handles if you find that holding the regular thin bare mandrels is difficult. Simply remove the mandrel from the handle along with the bead when the bead is done and insert a new mandrel into the handle. The hollow handle allows you to insert the mandrel or rod as far as you desire. 3/8" diameter x 6".
