BLOW PIPES |

Palmer Tools currently manufactures a standard blow pipe only. The standard blowpipe is
54 inches long. It has an 11/16" diameter shaft, 1: diameter head, and either a stainless steel or a delrin mouth piece. The shaft is fabricated from 3/8" ID schedule 40-304 stainless steel pipe stock ( the
wall thickness of this material is heavier than that of other standard pipes, therefore, it is more scale resistant and does not bend as easily), the head and the metal mouthpiece are machined from solid 304
stainless steel rod, and each includes a rubber grip with collar. |

PUNTYS |

Puntys are all made from 304 stainless steel end to end. They come in a
hollow-lightweight 11/16" diameter and 1/2" diameter version. Palmer Tools also manufactures solid stainless steel versions in 1/2" and 5/8" diameter. All puntys have a rubber grip and collar included. |

ROTATING STEAM STICK |

The basis of this tool is the redwood cone. Only fine grain clear redwood is chosen for
the manufacture of this tool. Redwood was chosen over cherry for this tool because redwood is more porous than cherry. This greater porosity allows more water to be held within the redwood leading to a much
better steaming action. All aluminum components are used for the rotating flange and spindle so that they hold up well submerged in water. This rotating feature allows for ease of operation (easier to
manipulate than others) while the fine grain redwood facilitates a superior seal to the glass. |

FOOTING TOOL |

The footing tool is fabricated from cherry wood. This clapper style has a 304 stainless
steel spring hinge that os attached to the cherry wood with aluminum screws. This combination of materials allows the footing tool to be kept submerged in water indefinitely. |

DRY LIP PADDLE |

This specialized paddle is made of yellow poplar wood. It's best use is in finishing
lips on anything from goblets to large bowls. This paddle is designed to be used dry. It draws much less heat from the glass and does not leave marking. Break in by slightly charring the surface of the tool.

ROD TONGS ('Parchoffi') |

The Rod Tong features a 304 stainless steel handle. The entire tool may be kept
submerged in water without developing the familiar rust boils of other steel tools. This handle is available with either a stiff or soft flex. The rods are made form cherry wood. The stainless steel handle
of the rod tong is identical to the handle used for all of the jacks with the exclusion of the tabs that wrap the rods. Jacks also are available with soft or stiff hinge. Being constructed of stainless
steel, the jacks remain rust free for the life of the tool. |
