STRINGERS

Stringers are threads of glass which have been pulled from remelted Bullseye sheet glass. They may be tack-fused to make fabric-like sheets or torch-worked over a candle flame to create fine-lined designs for subsequent fusing onto a sheet. Stringers measure 0.7 to 1.2MM in diameter and are approximately 1/2" shorter than the tubes in which they are packaged. Clear plastic tubes are 3/4" in diameter and available in 18" length.  Approximately 200 stringer in a tube.
